We have recently received a new scanning station for the public! The Scannex station was purchased to make it easier to digitize materials without the need of a full computer with Adobe software and complex instructions. New Scanning station with touch screen display! Please check out this great new service and tell others about it so they too can print with ease. One thing to note is that the “My Funds” area is non-functional as of now and you will still have the normal page allotment from the university and the option of adding more pages through LionCash or credit card. Once you upload a document for printing, you can see options for layout, page range, sides, pages per side, color options, viewing a print preview, review of how many pages will be printed, and more. The types of documents allowed at the moment include. Either way, from there you can upload documents to the remote printing service which will be stored there for up to five days until you visit a remote printing release station.

MobilePrint has an Android and iOS app that can be set up with minimal effort, but you can also just visit and log in (using your PSU ID and password) with no set up required.
Then it is as simple as visiting a remote printing release station at many of our campuses and releasing it to be printed. MobilePrint aims to solve this by allowing anyone with a Penn State Access account to log in and send a document for remote printing.

In the past, setting up mobile printing was done through drivers that only worked with Windows and was clunky and prone to issues. ITS has made it easier to print from most internet-connected devices with a new web-based service called MobilePrint.
